Poet

Some things can only be expressed through poetry. Some feelings, some ideals, they are only accessible through a higher, more mysterious medium, which is why Jon Roberts has found himself almost falling into poetry. The first poem he ever wrote was when he was six years old, and he’s never stopped since.

Author

Ever a fan of fantasy, Jon Roberts started his first novel when he was a teenager. It was supposed to be a sprawling epic centered around a sort of mythical image of the eternal Maid of New Orleans: Joan of Arc. Maybe he’ll get back into historical fiction one day, but right now, Jon is focused on getting the story of Isaac and Inessa Way to readers everywhere.

Idealist

Don’t get Jon started on philosophy and politics… It probably won’t end well for anyone. Instead, Jon spends his days putting the eternal truths upon which our world is moored into tangible characters and realistic settings. Light a candle for me, and I’ll light one for you.

Close to Home

Born and bred in Michigan, Jon loves the mitten state, and even though his travels have taken him away from time to time, he has always returned to his family. The sound of waves lapping at the beach is as much a sound of home as the sight of too high e coli levels for swimming at Metro Beach.
